Fourth of July Celebrations Near You

Fourth of July is just around the corner! Celebrate freedom with your family and friends at these local July 4th events.

Arlington – The Arlington 4 of July parade will be kicking off at 9 AM on July 4th for a day of family fun! The parade has stood the test of time–it’s the oldest event in Arlington! The parade has been going on for over 50 years. Get all of the information here: Arlington 4th of July Parade

Athens – The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center is hosting Fireworks at the Fishery. The event kicks off at 5 PM and attendees can bring lawn chairs, blankets, and fishing poles to enjoy the evening. And best of all–it’s free! Details are available here: 2019 Fireworks at the Fishery

Bedford – Keep it cool for the 4th by heading over to 4th Fest in Bedford. Start the celebrations by splashing down at the Aquatic Center at 12 noon. The afternoon brings music, children’s activities. and a car show, before concluding with fireworks. Check it out: 4th Fest

Flower Mound – Plan on a full day of fun in Flower Mound with the Independence Fest. This free event starts with a children’s parade at 10 AM and ends with a fireworks show after the headlining act, Bret Michaels! Full schedule is available here: Independence Fest 2019

Grand Prairie – Lone Star Park is continuing the tradition of great events with the Lone Stars & Stripes Celebration. This grand event starts on July 4th and concludes on July 5th! Lancaster – The city of Lancaster, in conjunction with the city of DeSoto, has a great free event lined up. The Old Fashioned Fourth Fireworks Celebration kicks off at 6 PM (gates open at 4 PM so you can secure a great viewing spot) and will have food, vendors, activities, and live music, including a performance by Grammy award-winning artist Chrisette Michelle.
